Glosamed

Joint, spine and sports injury surgery, with the rehabilitation booked at the same time as the operation.
Request a PlanOverview
Orthopaedic outcomes depend as much on the weeks after surgery as on the operation itself. We plan both together: the surgical dates, the inpatient stay, the physiotherapy block, and accommodation close enough to the hospital that a review appointment is a short drive rather than a day out.
Where a second opinion would change the decision — whether to operate at all, or which approach to take — we arrange one before anything is booked.
Planning at a glance
What is done
Total and partial joint replacement, including the pre-operative assessment and the staged physiotherapy that follows.
Decompression, discectomy and fusion for nerve compression and instability, with imaging reviewed by the operating surgeon in advance.
Keyhole procedures on the knee, shoulder and ankle — ligament reconstruction, meniscal and rotator cuff repair.
Assessment, surgical repair where it is needed, and a return-to-activity programme written for your sport.
Revision of poorly healed fractures, hardware removal and corrective surgery.
Supervised physiotherapy blocks, arranged as an in-country stay or handed over to a therapist at home.
How we run it
Recent X-rays, MRI or CT scans go to the surgeon for assessment before you commit to travelling.
You receive the proposed procedure, the implant or technique involved, the expected inpatient stay and the full cost.
Blood work, anaesthetic review and fitness checks, scheduled for the days immediately after you arrive.
Your coordinator is the point of contact throughout, and keeps your family updated wherever they are.
Physiotherapy begins in hospital and continues at your accommodation, with a written programme and reports to carry home.
Glosamed coordinates your care. We do not diagnose, treat or give medical advice — every clinical decision rests with the licensed doctors and hospitals treating you.
